3D SECURE (3DS)

When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, payment information, email address, and phone number. We also collect the gift card recipient's name, email address and phone number. We send this information to our fraud screening service - Forter (https://m.api.forter.com) - to confirm the legitimacy of the customer and to ensure no fraudulent activity is apparent. We do not save any payment information in our system after the transaction has been verified by Forter.

eGift it takes security for customers and the community very seriously. eGift it has implemented Strong Customer Authentication in the form of 3D Secure 2 (3DS2). By implementing 3D Secure 2, you as a customer may be asked to enter a second authentication by your financial organisation to verify your identity. This process can take up to 30 seconds but ensures that only the correct person is using your credit or debit card. This process of authentication is directly between you and your bank.
