IMPORTANT GIFT CARD INFORMATION
At eGift it, we’re here to make gifting simple and delightful. We sell digital gift cards only (no physical gift cards) which are delivered by email and SMS for fast, convenient and contact-free gifting. Because digital gift cards are treated like cash, it’s important to read the information below before making a purchase.
All Sales Are Final
Please choose carefully when purchasing, as we do not offer exchanges or refunds on digital gift cards.
A re-issue of a faulty or damaged gift card is only available if the fault or damage is proven to be the result of:
- the production or issuing process,
- a fault caused by eGift it or one of our brand suppliers, or
- where required by law (such as under Australian Consumer Law).
If any value on a gift card has already been partially or fully spent, we are unable to offer a refund unless required to by law.
Faulty or Non-Working Gift Card?
We understand things can occasionally go wrong. If your digital gift card does not work as expected and you believe the issue is due to a system error, please contact our support team as soon as possible by emailing: support@egiftit.com.au
So that we can locate the gift card order and investigate the issue please include the following information in your email:
- The order number
- The Sender’s name and email address used to place the order
- The Recipient’s name address
- The brand and value of the digital gift card
- Description of the issue with screenshots or error messages (if possible)
Please note if the issue is not caused by eGift it, our systems or our issuing partners, a refund or re-issue may not be possible.
Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund if a product or service (including a gift card) is faulty or fails to meet consumer guarantees. If a gift card fault is not your fault, and it can’t be corrected with a re-issue, a refund may be provided subject to review.
eGift it are not responsible for refunding purchases made using the gift card at third-party retailers. Any refund or return for those goods or services must be handled directly with the retailer, in line with their own returns policy and your consumer rights.
